Pregnancy and birth can feel exciting and intimidating. I'm here to educate, empower, support, and cheer you on! I strive to support you to labor in awareness, where you feel confident, informed, and surrounded with care, love, and respect. I provide doula services for all births, vaginal, medicated, unmedicated, cesarean, and home births in the Cleveland area.

This is not your standard hospital based group class! 

Let Kristen provide you with individualized education and the tools you need to have an informed and empowered birth. You will receive high quality evidence based instruction as well as enhanced decision making skills, hands on comfort measures, tools for pain management, birth planning guidance, and much much more. Bundle this with Bamboo Birth's Lactation 101 for an elevated experience and preparation. 

You just got home with your beautiful baby. You're tired, sore, and wondering if you're doing a good job (pssst, you are doing a good job).  Do you just need someone to come sit with you while you're navigating feedings? Provide a weight check? Listen to your thoughts and concerns? Debrief from your birth? Let you rest and shower while your baby is in expert and loving hands? I'll even load the dishwasher, wash the baby's clothes, and prep you a meal. You deserve to be nurtured!

This service is to set yourself up for success. I’m there with you every step of the way. Let’s take the “let’s wait and see” out of the equation and go with an anticipatory approach. This consists of 3 meetings, one prenatally, and the other’s in the first month., combined with phone and texting support. From understanding how breastfeeding works, how your pump works, and getting the best of both worlds with the bottle and the breast!

Looking for something a little more in-depth than your hospital's basics class? This is an individualized lactation class that takes into account your questions and goals. Learn how breastfeeding/chestfeeding work, how partners play a roll, common problems, solutions, resources, and so much more! The biggest factor in meeting your feeding goals is support!
